- Do people need to have played before?
- No. Most of our events are designed for people who have never touched a tabletop game in their life. We handle all the rules, setup, and facilitation. The only thing your team needs to bring is a willingness to give it a go.
- How many people can take part?
- Our social deduction events work well from 8 up to around 30 people. Tabletop roleplaying is best suited to smaller groups of 4 to 16, run as parallel tables for larger teams. Strategy and board game events can scale to whole company days. Not sure what works for your group size? Get in touch and we will advise.
- How long does an event run?
- Most events run between 2 and 3 hours, including a short introduction and a debrief at the end. We can design shorter 90-minute formats for conference energisers or longer half-day programmes for away days.
- Where does the event take place?
- We come to you. Most events run in your office, a meeting room, or a venue of your choice. We bring everything needed to run the session. If you need help finding a suitable venue in Ireland, we can advise on that too.
- What do you need from us to run the event?
- A space with enough tables and chairs for your group, and a room where people can talk without disturbing the rest of the office. That is usually it. We will confirm any specifics when we discuss the booking.
- What if some people aren't really into it?
- It happens, and we plan for it. Our facilitation style is low-pressure — nobody is ever put on the spot or forced to perform. In practice, the most reluctant people in the room are often the ones who end up most engaged once the game gets going. But if someone genuinely wants to observe rather than play, that is always fine.
- How much does it cost?
- Every event is scoped individually based on group size, format, and duration. Get in touch and we will come back to you within 48 hours with a straightforward proposal. No vague pricing, no surprise add-ons.
- How far in advance do we need to book?
- We recommend at least two weeks for a straightforward event, and four to six weeks for larger or more complex programmes. We will always try to accommodate shorter lead times where we can.
- Can we combine formats for a longer day?
- Yes, and it often works well. A common structure is social deduction in the morning as an icebreaker, followed by tabletop roleplaying in the afternoon for deeper engagement. Get in touch and we can put together something that fits your schedule.
